3 min. walk to tram. Helpful and obliging staff. Clean hotel. Renovated room. Tile floors in hall and thin walls meant a rather noisy stay but staff expressed genuine concern and were very accommodating. Supermarket and self-serve laundry at considerable distance.

Modest hotel, good price - quality ratio

I arrived late at night. Everyone was nice, and most of the staff could speak Spanish and English in addition to their native Portuguese. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place looked a little old, but that’s not a bad thing to me because, as I said, they were clean and comfortable. I’ll stay there in a future visit to Rio.

Disappointing

Only one elevator was working. Since there are 13 floors and people going on and off, you had to wait a very long time to use it. Not very clean with the toilet paper being stained upon arrival. The staff was not helpful either.

My experience at Hotel Atlântico Tower was very disappointing, especially during check-out. I had a night flight and asked if I could wait in the lobby or use some of the facilities after checking out, as I had a long wait ahead. I wasn't even asking for a room — just somewhere to stay comfortably while I was still a guest in the country. I was also willing to consume something inside the hotel (food, drinks, etc.). Despite this, the staff were completely unhelpful and even rude in their tone. They didn’t offer any support or alternatives and made it very clear I wasn’t welcome to stay. To make things worse, they charged me to store my suitcase — something that many hotels offer as a courtesy. Their customer service was seriously lacking, and they didn’t seem to know how to handle simple guest requests. Also, during my stay, I had asked for my room to be cleaned, but when I came back later, it was exactly as I had left it — dirty and untouched. No explanation, no adjustment, nothing. It felt like they simply didn’t care about guest comfort at all. This was the last hotel I stayed at in Rio de Janeiro, and unfortunately, it left a very bad impression just before leaving the country. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and a more professional attitude. I do not recommend Hotel Atlântico Tower, and I really hope they improve their customer service and basic hospitality standards.

Excelente hotel, quartos superiores novos, café da manhã tenho a reclamar apenas dos sucos que são bem artificiais, quanto ao atendimento, o atendente Wemerson se destaca pela sua empatia e gentileza. Otimo localização no centro, próximo a praça Tiradentes, atrás do Hotel Ibis. Pertinho do Saara e outros pontos turísticos. Com certeza voltaremos em família!!!

Quarto completamente sujo, banheiro com água vazando e ninguém fez nada. Portas e janelas precárias e barulhentas. Sauna que era o ponto forte, sempre em manutenção e fechada. Mentem dizendo que o gerador está com problema mas isso já estava assim desde reveillon e largaram de mão. Piscina imunda com água suja e amarelada, também sem solução. Segundo eles, limpam todo dia. Creia! Checkout extremamente cedo e não flexibilizam por nada. Café da manhã com pães e ssichas azedas. Só salvou o ovo mexido e olhe lá. Zona perigosa, recepção sem nenhum conforto lara espera do checkin 14h. O hotel está de mal a pior. Agora na piscina tb não ppde levar sequer uma latinha de cerveja. Quando vai comprar no bar, UMA FORTUNA
