Requires modernisation.
Goodness , it was like traveling back to the 80's ... The hotel needs modernising.
The room was ok , but the bathroom was so small, ridiculously so. Every aspect of the room, such as furniture and decor needs updating.
The breakfast room ( restaurant) , feels like a museum , the curtains , table cloths and decor is so old ... Actually feels dirty because everything is so old.
The breakfast service was horrendous...buffet service ran out of food and we had to wait 39 minutes to get food. In the mean time we had to ask for almost every aspect ... No butter , no milk , no cutlery... The staff were trying their best , but it was obvious that more were needed.
Oh , also had to pay extra £10 to park , which in this day and age is ridiculous. Although if the hotel added that extra cost on such platforms as Hotels.com it would get less bookings . So much so , that I understand if you book direct, parking is free . This is a way the hotel makes the hotels.com commission back ( dreadful !!).
A positive and the only one ... The new lady working on reception was so polite and helpful.
