My state was excellent and it's a convenient Hotel. The only thing is that I am not a fan of the double twin bed that they put together with a matte on top. Is good for a while but sooner or later one side will wear out before the other. Outside of that everything else was excellent.

The photos of the foyer and room were better than reality. The room was also on the small side. It looked bigger in photos. The lift was very old and slow. However I was comfortable staying at this hotel. It was quiet and safe and convenient. Walkable to many food options and the beach was a good walk away across many lanes of traffic. Breakfast was good. No real issues and I would consider coming here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were very nice and I had the room with the jacuzzi which worked very well and it was very spacious but not so big that you thought you were in a swimming pool. The Wi-Fi worked very well. Some of the stuff is a little dated like the TV but it is a very cozy space. Everything worked well in the room to include the TV and it was surprisingly quiet. There are many restaurants close by as well. It's in a very good spot.

I stayed in their sweet with the jet tub which was very nice and the staff in general was very nice. The breakfast was okay but the only issue was the weakness of the Wi-Fi in the room. I had a lot of problems with getting a signal and was a having very difficult time trying to make plans and organize because of the inconsistency of the Wi-Fi. If they strengthen the Wi-Fi, this hotel would be outstanding.

I am not a fan of the double twin beds with the padded cover to make a larger King bed but outside of that everything else was excellent. Keep in mind that the gym is off site a short distance across the street that's about a 1 minute walk. This means you have access to a much better variety for exercise.

My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent. The staff are efficient and attentive. The Hotel is quiet because it is on a small street but it is in a great position, minutes walk from two metro stations and Flamengo beach. It is only two metro stops to Copacabana beach and the central city.The local area is vibrant with many eateries, and I felt safe at all times.I think Mengo Palace is great value and I was very pleased with my choice for staying in Rio.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tive uma ótima experiência no Mengo Palace Hotel. A equipe foi muito cordial e atenciosa desde o check-in até o check-out, sempre prestando um atendimento educado e disposto a ajudar. O quarto é amplo, confortável e atendeu muito bem às necessidades da minha família durante a estadia. A localização é um dos grandes diferenciais do hotel: muito próxima da Praia do Flamengo, com fácil acesso ao metrô, restaurantes e aos principais pontos turísticos da cidade. De Uber, conseguimos nos deslocar com rapidez para praticamente todos os lugares que visitamos. O café da manhã também merece destaque. É bem servido, variado e de boa qualidade. Como pontos de melhoria, destaco o ar-condicionado do quarto, que aparentava ser um modelo mais antigo e fazia bastante barulho durante a noite, e o tempo de espera do restaurante para um jantar solicitado no serviço de quarto, que foi bastante demorado. Depois dessa experiência, optamos por pedir refeições por aplicativo, o que acabou sendo mais prático. Outro fator é o barulho da rua, que pode incomodar hóspedes com sono leve, embora isso fuja ao controle do hotel. No geral, a experiência foi muito positiva. O excelente atendimento, a localização privilegiada, os quartos espaçosos e o bom café da manhã fizeram da hospedagem uma ótima escolha. Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar no Mengo Palace Hotel em uma próxima visita ao Rio de Janeiro.

Durante a hospedagem não gostei de 3 coisas: 1) Eu e minha família ficamos em um quarto quádruplo. O espaço para andarmos no quarto era muito estreito, só dava pra passar uma pessoa por vez. 2) A cama em que dormi com meu esposo era extremamente desconfortável (tão dura que parecia que estava dormindo sobre a base do box e não em um colchão). Acho que fosse um colchão normal (mesmo tamanho queen), não dois colchões de solteiro unidos, teria dormido melhor. 3) Outro ponto é que o elevador era tão pequeno que eu, meu marido e meus 2 filhos não conseguíamos andar juntos no elevador. 4) O café da manhã era meio pobrezinho... No primeiro dia tinha um quiche de queijo que acabou e não tinha outro pra repor. Só comi porque meu esposo me deu uma provinha da fatia dele (que tinha sido a última). Nos outros 4 dias não serviram mais. Fora esses pontos, os funcionários da recepção e o porteiro são muito prestativos e educados. A localização do hotel é muito boa.
