A Very Poor Experience
Due to the state of our room - it was filthy, the bins were not emptied and the bed had not been made properly; I complained to reception. The receptionis came to check what it was like, and then a member of the housekeeping staff was sent to check. Everyone agreed that the room was in a terrible state.
I was then offered a replacement room, opposite the one I had been allocated. This room was equally as bad, so I decided I would not risk the option of a third room, and checked out.
I had booked the room via Hotels.com and approached them about a refund. The hotel did not quibble (showing that what I am writing is correct), I got all of my money back.
I am not saying this is a bad hotel; the staff were very friendly, and it is in a lovely position. I do feel they should sack the cleaning staff, to save the reputation of the hotel.
