It is a bit far from Florence's main sights (20-30min walk) if you plan to explore the city on foot, and the first 10 minutes of the walk are not particularly picturesque.
For us, it felt somewhat overpriced at €500 per night, considering it was essentially a nice room without many amenities or additional services. It felt more like an apartment rental than a boutique hotel. There is no front desk; instead, communication is handled through a single contact via WhatsApp. That person was helpful and friendly.
Our room had a few maintenance issues. Most were minor, but for us it was too hot at night and we could not figure out how to make it cooler.
Breakfast is provided through vouchers for a café across the street. The food was very good, and the portions were generous.
Next time we would probably choose a place closer to the historic sights.
