We booked for the views for our stay, and it was worth it! Especially waking up and having breakfast overlooking the ocean... breathtaking! We loved our stay, the only thing I would mention is that since the inn is within the community college campus, parking is limited and fills up fast, so just be aware of that when driving through.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It is located in a nice quiet part of Portland and away from the main downtown. It is good place to relax and visit Portland

We had a great time staying at the McKernan Inn! The location was perfect. Only 10 minutes to Fort Williams Park or really any other activity in the area. We loved the spacious room. It was clean and well appointed. We didn’t get to eat breakfast in the nice room with the fantastic view due to another event going on but they made up for it by bringing breakfast to our room. We liked the history of the building and that it is run by students. One thing I will mention is the building is not very well marked. Put the actual address in your GPS and not the name and it should take you right to it. I would 100% recommend staying here.

The staff was friendly, but we didn’t realize the inn was on a college campus. There was rarely anyone at the front desk and no room to put your belongings in the bathroom.

The suite at the Inn was amazing. Waking up each morning to views of boats docked in the harbor, the flashes of Maine’s oldest lighthouse, and birds flying by were amazing!! The surrounding beach and lighthouse walks were icing on the cake. We highly recommend this place!!

The Suite we stayed in was roomy and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the view was great! The furniture seemed older and worn, including a torn chair in the hallway. The breakfast is very basic (K cup coffee, instant oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and some pastries). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the student staff were very friendly and helpful.
