The pool was not available for our single day visit, but otherwise everything was exceptionally good! A spacious room. The options and quality of food for breakfast were the best I have ever been offered. Especially good was the receptionist who helped us sort a problem with our hhire car car when we could not connect with the company

The place didn’t meet our expectations - there was mold in the bathroom, the sofa was stained, the safe was not connected to the wall, there was no angers , the pictures of the hotel on the website didn’t match the reality. The pool seemed to be bigger than the picture, the room seemed to be newer. The breakfast was the only thing that was good.

This is a perfectly adequate location from which to explore Mitzpe Ramon. It is not particularly fancy (as others have said, there are no elevators and all rooms require you to carry luggage up the stairs), the rooms are old, and the walls are thin. With that said, it is clean and the staff are kind, the breakfast had many options, and the location is fantastic. We really just used the room to sleep, and what they offered was more than enough.

On to of Ramon Crater

The staff was very nice, the location is great, the rooms are very big and can host 6 people (up to 4 adults and 2or 3 kids), there is a small kitchenette and a large fridge, breakfast was nice, but not more than that, they have great products but lack of creativity as for the chef...

Hôtel bien placé (près de la promenade, le long du cratère). Au calme. Chambre très spacieuse mais pas meublée "dernier cri". Tout était propre et fonctionnel. Personnel de l'accueil souriant. Et super bonus, le petit-déjeuner avec une multitude de produits délicieux (salé, sucré, ....) et faits maison. Excellent café (sauf le samedi où la machine est fermée). Il y a énormément de sorties à faire dans le désert (à se renseigner avec un guide). J'ai adoré ma soirée astronomie dans le cratère avec Naomi, une super guide francophone qui habite à Mizpe Ramon. Elle est vraiment passionnée. Je recommande vivement, (naomibamidbar.com/f/). Le ciel du désert est impressionnant et on a pu voir des planètes et bien d'autres choses à travers son télescope. Bravo pour sa pédagogie. Mention spéciale également pour le restaurant Sumsumiya. Pensez à réserver à l'avance pour pouvoir y diner.

The property was in a convenient location and safe. There are a lot of stairs and no elevators. There are about 5 free parking spaces, everyone else pays the municipal rate. Hotel was quiet, room large, and beds comfortable.

We got a room on the third floor, no elevator. Our room was very outdated, nothing like the pictures, and not very clean.

No Elevators But Convenient Location

When we saw it was entitled Suites, we presumed that there would be an elevator. To get to our room, we had to go down one flight of stairs and up two flights of stairs. A maintenance man helped us with our first small pieces of luggage. We at 70+ years of age pulled our larger bags. This hotel is NOT recommended for seniors. Parking is also only free if you can find a street spot. The more convenient pay spots requires an app which only works on Israeli phones. Our room was nice but be careful in the bathtub which has no mat and is slippery. The breakfast was good and the hotel is convenient.

Location is great, the Crater is one block away, and at night you can easily see the Milky Way there. The surrounding area is interesting and there is a shopping center and visitor center within 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The staff is mostly nice and helpful, though the person who checked us out cracked a joke about us owing 5500 euros, which wasn't funny at all. The room was a bit smaller than we expected, but well suited for our needs. The pool isn't big enough for all the guests too. The breakfast was excellent with rich selection. The biggest problem is that the hotel doesn't have free parking, even though it's promised in the listing. Granted, there is a public parking across the street and the front desk sells parking vouchers for a very reasonable price. Still, it's not okay to promise free parking, if it's not really free. The check-in took about half an hour standing in line to the front desk. They said it wasn't typical, but who knows. The listing also promised full kitchenette in the room with all the utensils, but there were only cups there. In fairness, we asked for more at the front desk and within an hour they brought us a full set of utensils and plates too. We also were one towel short. The hotel seems nice and renovated, though its planning is awkward, and finding the room can be a challenge. The room was mostly clean except for the drawers - there was a lot of dust inside and we had to clean it in order to put our things inside the cabinet.

The hotel is old, it’s small rooms have not been modernized. At check-in, they lost the reservation of the people in front of us. But, the pool was useable and the breakfast was fantastic. One of the clerks was great. You had to take all your needs to her only.

Fantastic Hotel in Mitzpe Ramon

Friend visiting from USA. Hotel was delightful! I’ve already recommended at least 5 times.
