Roy and the team were very accommodating throughout my 3 week stay. The suites are so so close to everything including: shops, entertainment, train station for Karanda, pubs, places to eat, aquarium, the lagoon and restaurants. It is a fantastic location, especially since I didn’t have a car this time. The pool in the complex is also clean and great for a dip. Rooms also have a washing machine, dryer and great cooking facilities. Thanks Roy and the team for another great stay this year!

the management was great nothing was a problem. the suite was very clean and our only thing would be we would not call it is luxury. suite was very close to shopping centre and approx 15min to 20 min walk to espanade

With supermarkets and retail stores across the road, location was great. Short walk to the centre of Cairns, very convenient. Was great to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. The unit itself was basic but suited my needs.

The location was great - across from a mall to get anything you could want including groceries. It was walking distance to the esplanade pool, ocean pier, night market, etc. The hotel pool was refreshing after a day of activities, and the kitchen with a full sized fridge was wonderful. Having a washer and dryer made our 2 week stay so much easier as well. We very much appreciated all the amenities in this clean, apartment style hotel.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Eichecken war unkompliziert, obwohl es nur über die Klingel am Eingang möglich war, bei später Anreise. Gute Lage. Parken in der Garage war auch kein Problem, allerdings war das Haus nicht voll belegt. Pool war gut.

Property was clean and fresh smelling. No musty smell like our other hotel. shower was amazing and grocery store and mall literally right across the street. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Larger suite than we expected. Quiet and safe area. staff were very friendly. easy walking access to Reef Terminal and Night Markets with tons of restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip

In an excellent location central to town centre, Management very helpful, clean rooms but getting a little "tired" we did not have any kind of view from our balcony but that and no lift to help with getting luggage to room (3 floors) was the only negatives

Good central location opposite major shopping centre. Walkable distance to Esplanade and lots of dining and activities options. Good sized apartment with undercover locked garage. Apartment interior is a bit dated and needs some on going repairs and upgrades and a good deep clean. Good features including washer and dryer, comfortable bed and couch.

Arriving on a late flight from Melbourne our initial response was how quiet the neighbourhood, and are so glad that we didn’t select accommodations on the Esplanade. The apartment is over the road from the major shopping centre and Kuranda train station, a short walk to Rusty’s market and a range of restaurants. The standard of food was exceptional. As we were on the second floor a lift would have been but sometimes you can’t have everything! We will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mid City Luxury Suites. This accommodation is ideally positioned near Cairns Central Shopping mall where you can get essentials and enjoy easy access to Cairns cbd. What stood out was the practicality and self sufficiency of the room: full kitchen, laundry, balcony and bathroom. The underfloor parking was excellent too. Perfect for a longer stay. These rooms were probably in the 'luxury' category once but have clearly aged alot over time. A couple of other minor issues ro consider- no elevator, and no views of the waterfront. Overall these things did not affect my stay. It was a very good experience.

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the 2 flights of steps which isn't helpful when you have a baby and a pram. The airconditioners went from noisy to quiet all the time. The couch sunk and the mattress springs could be seen from the side of the bed. The fans and exhausts were filthy.
