Accessibility: two blue badge parking spaces both occupied by people without blue badges despite my arrival by 3.15 and still there at 10pm. Reception staff do not take car reg numbers - why not?
I am never sure why a normal bath with a hand rail is considered accessible to meet with booking requirements. Reception staff agreed they do have walk-in showers which were not offered. So I couldn’t use the bath. (I had sent direct messages to hotel prior to booking but these were not answered).
Payment: I was asked to pay when I arrived before being allowed to check in as my “credit card had not gone through”. Fortunately I had my payment receipt in my phone and easily available. Not a good first impression!
Cleaning: great job by cleaner - but chairs and furnishings very stained.
Otherwise friendly and reasonable standard.
