Clean room (although there were cobwebs around light and ceiling). The picture on the website showed a much nicer and larger room, therefore, we were very disappointed with such a small room that was three flight of stairs up and no lift - my husband struggled with this (due to his knee operation).
The owners were helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was very good.
Parking was restricted as you had to find your own space on the road or at the time we were there, there were a few spaces to use, in the car park belonging to some flats next door.
The pool was the biggest disappointment - as this was actually based at the MacDonalds hotel (in the town about 10/15 min walk away) and when we got to the B&B we were told the normal procedure is to book a day in advance! We got to the MacDonald hotel, but we were unable to park there (£25 parking fee) so went to look for somewhere else to park. By the time we managed to get somewhere we were running out of time to be able to swim and get to the next activity we had booked. Also, given that the hotel receptionist was dismissive and unwelcoming - we decided to give it a miss! This was such a disappointment as the main reason for booking this B&B was the advantage of being able to go for a swim!
Overall, the whole experience of staying at this B&B was disappointing.
