Seems like they’re relying on the titanic name to make money and charge wherever they can. The decoration and cleanliness in the common areas are great, but as soon as you get to a room you find carpets that are stained and in poor condition. There seemed to be an issue with the drainage for the bath too, as the carpet outside the bathroom, nowhere near the entrance to it, would get wet when we showered or bathed.
The reception staff were lovely and welcoming, unfortunately some members of the bar staff however not so much. A couple had issues remembering orders and the impression was we were putting them out asking for anything.
A real shame considering what it costs to stay there. If you’re looking for a luxury stay, I’d recommend looking somewhere else.
