Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay at Juniper Hill Inn and would gladly stay here again. The property has the charm of a classic motel-style inn, is well maintained, and is in an excellent location for exploring Ogunquit.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The king-size bed provided a great night's sleep, and I appreciated having two chairs and a table to relax after a day out. It had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
There were only two negatives during my two-night visit. First, the front desk woman I dealt with at check-in was noticeably rude and unwelcoming. When I later reported that our room had no hot water, the response was equally dismissive. A little more courtesy and customer service would go a long way.
Second, the hot water never worked during our stay, making it impossible to take a warm shower either morning. Hopefully, this is simply a maintenance issue that can be resolved quickly.
Those concerns weren't enough to overshadow the positives. Every other employee I encountered was friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, and the location was fantastic. For those reasons, I'm happy to give Juniper Hill Inn four stars and would definitely consider staying here again.
