Not awesome
The hotel looks lovely in photos on hotels.com but in person it leaves a lot to be desired. I chose this hotel based off of the reviews on hotels.com and honestly I’m confused because this hotel did not match up to the multitudes of excellent reviews I read. The first thing is the moldy smell that hits upon walking in the front door and is strong smelling throughout the ground level floor including in the room we stayed in. The hallway needed a vacuum. The room itself was ok. There was a very obvious dirty handprint in the middle of the bathroom door which should have been easily seen by the cleaner. The shower was an accessible shower but had a curtain that was a foot too short so spewed large amounts of water all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom door was severely water damaged. The toilet handle for flushing was broken and should have been replaced, they cost very little to replace! Also under the beds clearly had not been cleaned in some time and had a bunch of debris and even a cigarette under there. Overall for the price I’ll stay elsewhere next time. I can understand a low cost low budget hotel but there is zero excuse for the lack of cleanliness. And the pool area was run down with ants everywhere.
