Really lovely little hotel right by the beach. The staff were very friendly and took us to our room, explaining everything from the keys, the breakfast and the facilities. The area is a really peaceful, quiet place with a lovely beach and fields to walk around in and explore. Highly recommend this place to anyone

Nice venue, with very friendly helpful staff. Very disappointing that we were not told in advance that no food Sunday evenings, as we had booked partly on food and drink reputation! However, our breakfast was superb!

Our one night stay at The Silverdale Hotel has been great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and our evening meal for 12 people was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel👍

A comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. I had a room facing the garden (Room 6) which, in such good weather, was a bit noisy late into the evening. Dinner and breakfast were good, but I would have liked some fruit with breakfast.

Homely and comfortable. Good cooked breakfast. Shower in our room wouldn't fully adjust and was dangerously hot. Close to beach and lovely walks.

Lovely homely hotel/pub. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Great location for a stop on the way to Scotland as not far off of the motorway. Beautiful area.

A great place to stay, particularly if travelling with a furry companion. There are many great walks from the hotel and easy access to beaches. The hotel is welcoming, the staff very friendly and the food is great quality, with mainly local ingredients. There is much to see and do in the area, including RSPB Leighton Moss, Arnside Knot and Arnside village which has good cafes and shops and great views of the Lake District.

I stayed at the Silverdale Hotel for one night. I had a lovely warm welcome as I checked in. all the staff I had contact either were really helpful. The room was as described on the website. I had an evening meal which was all home-cooked to a very high standard as was breakfast the following morning. I would certainly stay at the Silverdale hotel again.

The staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful place, just moments from the shoreline. The room was lovely and quirky and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our travels. Thank you.

This hotel had a rating of 9.6 when I booked. It deserves at least that it is excellent. The staff are fantastic and the food is great. The ambience in the bars is superb. A lot of thought has gone into the decor to make this the most welcoming and relaxing place to stay.

Great staff, clean room, comfortable bed and a decent shower. The curtains let in too much light in the morning but that's the only (minor) criticism - very happy with everything else
