After my first night my chest was hurting and i couldn't understand why. The second night it felt like i was coming down with something and i started coughing up green phlegm. I was out all day and wheni came back to the room i was in pain again. I looked all over and then shine my flashlight into the Air Conditioner duct. "I requested for refund as there is no booking confirmation at all when I arrived at the hotel.
Hotel.com refused to refund back to me.

"On arrival questions about who Expedia.ca was. Booked superior nonsmoking room, twin beds. Taken to gritty room with dbl bed, multiple cig. Burns on bathtub rim. Changed to rm w. twin beds, fewer cig burns. Bathroom grimy, lack of maintenance everywhere. 24 hour/day very loud traffic noise. Not a 4-star hotel as advertised!!! Far too pricey for value."
"I had no problems whatsoever. Clean room and helpful staff, many of which speak some English. Good local style breakfast with choice of how egg prepared."
"So exceptional is The Excelsior - so absolutely perfect in every detail - that it'll amaze you - without any exceptions. Its gorgeously fitted out; the staff and extremely gracious and it has abundant unique features that make a stay so memorable. For breakfast, the Newsroom Cafe serves utterly delightful a la carte fare - in a gorgeous environment and with exceptional staff. It's perfect."

What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.
We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!
I had a 22 day stay while visiting around Yangon. The best part about this hotel was the staff. Everyone that worked there was friendly and kind. That fact alone makes this a great place to stay.
This was a 5 star stay at budget friendly prices.
It’s a perfect hotel, beautiful and spacious room, staff are extremely polite and helpful, got a beautiful view of the lake. Love to come back for this hotel.
Small hotel within walking distance of historic downtown sights. Excellent service and warm greeting upon arrival. High quality breakfast included. No issues with wi-fi. Very helpful with getting cabs and contacting local travel agency.
The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.
