We had really been pleased at the greeting from the moment we pulled our car up to the hotel. The service was outstanding, the employees pleasant and friendly. We had a wonderful stay!
Overall a good hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. Beds are comfy. Few minutes from public transport - easy access to the downtown area. The breakfast is a bit overrated in some reviews.

Not far from the street car and the metro so we could navigate easily to and from Old Port and beaches day and night - and some cute bars and cafes nearby for when we were lazy, or enjoying apero on our balcony which faced a cute courtyard.
We spent 6 nights here as our home base for exploring Marseille and had a lovely time! Would stay again when visiting Marseille for sure -

I really enjoyed my stay, from check in to departure everything was great. views, restaurants, drinks,the spa :) cleanliness, and the decor was so great... when I return to Marseilles I will surly be staying at this property again.
This is a beautiful, classy hotel in a good location near the old port of Marseille. The hotel can be seen from a great distance, and is quite impressive to approach. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to any need. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, clean and modern. No complaints.
Although in the heart of Marseille, C2 was a relaxing, boutique retreat (just over 20 rooms) with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations in a thoughtfully restored former townhouse then office building. I highly recommend Room 1. Walking distance to the harbor, sites and restaurants. But it was tempting to not even leave the hotel.
The Alex Hotel & Spa was booked due to it's close proximity to the train station. The staff upon check-in were helpful & friendly and our room was clean and renovated - it was one of our favorite stays in France! Also, the balcony was a plus and was a great way to relax and unwind after a day of travel while still enjoying the city.
As an interior designer, I really appreciated the attention to detail and overall feel of the Blue room. We loved the bathroom most of all, as well as the beautiful windows that let in so much light. Only negative is that the floor in the shower can get extremely slippery, definitely be careful.
Great place to stay. Close to the old harbour. Very trendy rooms. No TV, but a great vinyl collection in the common area (I spent one evening listening to Astrud Gilberto on their old school system). Oliver, the host, is awesome. The outside is very unassuming (we walked by it twi
ce), but the interior is very modern and the common space and garden (where you can pick fresh oranges right of the trees for breakfast) is terrific.
I really like NH hotels . The staff was very friendly and helpful during this covid situation. The room was perfect, great space, large sofa, chairs , desk , large mirrors, nice wallpaper, beautiful balcony space with views, this lobby was nice & clean . Great location , you can walk to shops, markets, and the pier ,mall, and the port etc.. great for families or Business trips etc... I really don't have any cons because my stay was great and when I return to Marseille i will be checking in to NH...
Outstanding, smaller hotel in a wonderful (albeit touristic) area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, kind, patient and helpful. The area has literally dozens, maybe more, decent restaurants (many Tunisien places) and great museums and attractions within easy walking distance. Marseille is certainly wrongly maligned as a place to avoid - that is really old news, if it ever was true.
