For the location and quality of this hotel I thought the rate was very reasonable. The hotel opened Dec 1st 2015 so everything is brand new. The room (two double beds) was very large, great closet space, great view of the coastline, very nice and spacious bathroom. Hotel staff was very professional and responsive to questions, also helpful regarding tips for going sightseeing. Good WiFi, great TV and channel selection.

The hotel was very modern with upscale decor. The toilet seat had a sensor that knew when you entered the bathroom. The restaurant had sweeping views of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The owners of the B&B were extremely kind and helpful. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until after 11 pm. The owner was there to pick us up at the airport (we requested the shuttle). They helped us with information about the area. Parking is rather small, so it helps to have a small car. The property is very secure - it’s surround by a fence. We had a great stay at the Hyatt Montevideo. The views are beautiful, and the hotel is very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety including hot options. We didn't use the amenities, but we really enjoyed the lounge downstairs. It was a lovely space, and the service there was excellent. Overall, a great experience!
This fairly modern hotel near the east end of downtown and close to the shore was a nice surprise for the very low rate online. Front desk staff, as with most South American hotels, go out of their way to please the guests. Claudio was particularly excellent and accommodating. Valentina was great too. Loved the free Trek bike rentals!! Theyre great for a ride along the beach shore path. Included buffet breakfast very nice too.
I had a wonderful stay at FAUNA Montevideo. The hosts were very helpful with check-in and check-out. They also had nice attention to details that made the stay even better such as water in the fridge, pleasant music in the lounge, drinks, and snacks. The decor of the hotel is great! The location was close to everything I wanted to see, so I could walk everywhere. Overall, great stay! Thanks!
It’s a great place, has lots of amenities (indoor pool, outdoor, gym, play room, office space, etc. the rooms are very spacious and in great condition. The location is also fantastic, less than one block away from the water and close to tons of really nice restaurants and a big mall that has everything you may need.

Beautiful bed and breakfast. We loved the attic room. So spacious with comfy king bed, wooden stove, cast iron soaking tub. Staff were fantastic, owners welcoming. Even provided room service or we can dine in restaurant. Lovely garden and pool. Will be returning .
Annette was great, super nice the whole time. I would recommend learning spanish as most of the city people just speak spanish. The hosts were very gracious and we even ate dinner together a few times.
The hotel was beautiful, unique and the location was convenient. The staff went above and beyond with advice and even helped us book our ferry tickets and order pizza for dinner one night. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place.
