"This property is about a 25 min (fast paced) walk to the tourist areas. It feels safe, quite, more authentic, and has a beautifully run doggy daycare right next door. The staff are what made my stay here exceptional. They will go out of their way to help you, direct, and inform you, in English. It has many local tourists, rather than from other countries. The buffet breakfast is sublime and highly recommended. The bedrooms are ample. Thank-you for making my time in Oaxaca fell amazing."

"The Flavia hotel is gorgeous with masterfully curated artwork, upscale design and unique furniture. The restaurant on site has incredible food and cocktails. My wife and I loved every aspect of the hotel. The view of Oaxaca city from our room was the highlight. I would like to add that the service was amazing! "This was ok for one night. We came in from Puerto Escondido and needed to rest for the night before getting on the plane the next day. 15 mins from airport. Parking is small but cars fit. Staff very helpful "

"Needed to switch from Airbnb to close airport hotel for an early pick up and this was IT!! Very nice place. Clean and affordable! Taxi to the airport in the AM is $200 pesos. Nice people that work and the Italian restaurant on the side was great drinks superb!!!! Will stay again when flying to/from Oaxaca. "

"The Marialicia was great. It had updated amenities very clean and the suites felt private. The location was perfect, not too far from the Zocalo ( within walking distance) and far away enough to be nice and quiet. I highly recommend this place and would stay again. "
