"Lot's of food stores near buy. Location is amazing, old Rio de Janeiro, birth place of samba music, every night music alive in the bar and restaurants. Kitchen has the minimum basic stuff. No need to cook, good food every where!"

"Was very apprehensive about staying in Lapa but after arriving I felt so much better. The hotel is in a perfect spot which made it easy to see Santa Teresa, the Lapa arches and sample local nightlife in Lapa. The staff were all so helpful and made our stay perfect. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Rio."

"Definitely the hotel with the best value for money in an ideal (near the beach) location in Rio. A peaceful, quiet, and safe spot just a few steps from Ipanema and the nightlife. The Deluxe Room on the 11th floor offers a decent view of the ocean; the room is a good size, and the breakfast is above the standard of a 3-star hotel. Definitely the choice for my next trip to Rio."

Also, they have 24 hour shuttle service to the nearby airport. It is a good one-night stay before flying out because it is very close to the airport. "
