Very nice property with a lovely staff

Small motel style inn, check in was easy after calling since the office was closed when we arrived. Room was very clean and had a list with wifi details and such. Beds were comfortable, it was quiet very little road noise if any at all over night. My only minor complaint is the water pressure was a bit lacking for someone with long hair. But I would definitely recommend and would stay again

They cook up a hearty breakfast with many choices. The restaurant and pub are great.

Water pressure for days in one of the suites! The rest of the suite was great, no issues except for the hot tub being out of order. I was happy to actually be able to wash my long thick hair, which I usually cannot do at hotels.

My Mom and I were taking a trip through Vermont to see the beautiful colors in the fall. Our last nights stay was at the Butler House in Stowe. As soon as we walked in and went to our room it just felt like a nice and cozy place to sleep. Felt like a little piece of home away from home. Mom and I almost didn't want to leave to go walk around town it was so nice! We were only there for a small amount of time but it would be a fantastic place to stay for longer stays. Hotel was great, grounds were lovely, pool area has a great vibe and is a fun space to relax. Bar has good drink options. Good place to bring your family for a get away. Housekeeping could be a little more thorough, had to call to get trashes emptied. Other than that everything was great, will be going back.

The inn was extremely cozy, comforting. An old world charm. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room very clean. Loved the gas fireplace, couches, rocking chairs to hang out at night and chat. Breakfast was delicious and the tavern food amazing! Shout out to the chef. A busy night and our meals were spot on, cooked to perfection and so tasty. Thankyou for making our stay enjoyable!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and spacious. Didn’t feel like a typical hotel, felt like another room in my house. Will definitely be staying with them again. There’s also a ton to do in the area in terms of activities and food/beverage.

We stayed in Essex for a concert and this hotel was literally across the street! Very convenient, clean and walkable to many other amenities. Highly recommend.

Loved the whole experience. Great, friendly staff, nice rooms, great pool. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities were immaculate, would definitely stay again.

5 min drive from downtown Burlington. Very nice outside pool that was a pleasant surprise!
