"We booked a Double Queen room for two nights for our family of four. Our stay was comfortable, and we were pleased with the location and facilities. One area for improvement is the room’s lighting—it was quite dim, making it difficult to read a book without natural light from the window. While the room had a nice coffee table and two comfortable chairs, a desk or a luggage bench would have been a welcome addition."

"We stayed here for one night while we went to the Potomac Eagle train ride. The hotel was clean, quiet and had good parking. Breakfast was good, and it was an overall excellent stay. It's not too far from Romney (30 scenic minutes), WV where there are quite a few local things to see. The Botique on Main, the Red Bird Cafe and the Artisans CoOp were highlights of our visit. "My stay in the historic inn was great. Both dinner and breakfast were served just downstairs from my room. The inn is old but nice and I hope to stay there again someday. My room had an old fashioned bathtub but no shower. Otherwise, all modern conveniences were available."

"This hotel was a great budget option and was exactly what I expected it to be. The room was large enough, the furnishings were adequate and the bathroom was ok. If you just need a room for a night or two and don't have a lot to spend, this hotel will do the trick. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would stay at this hotel again if i was traveling in the area."

"When we arrived to the Garrett Inn, we were able to check in, and were given a key to the room, and told where to park (each room's number was plainly painted on the space for each room, however, due to the configuration of the parking lot vs the way the room's were situated, the parking spaces were off-set from the individual rooms, so when parked for the room assigned, the space was two spaces offset. The room was well appointed, two full beds, a bathroom with a pocket door, a small table with two chairs. There was a microwave and room size refrigerator in the corner of the room, with coffee fixings and a coffee pot. The beds were firm but slept good. However, there was a bit of car noise from the busy highway (Rt 219), but it calmed down after about 11 pm. There was a great restaurant across the street, and also about a quarter of a mile down the road from the motel, both served great food. This motel was perfect for those who were exploring the local area and require a base to work from, this motel is perfect. It's not a chain motel, but it's quaint and fills all the basic needs of a motel."
