10/10 Excellent
"The staff was super friendly. The breakfast had a nice variety and healthy options. The place was so clean so quiet and it was so comfortable. We slept four people in one room completely comfortable room to move around. I absolutely love Springhill."
"Such a pleasure staying at The Charleston Place. The staff alone is delightful!! Very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staying here is worth the splurge and very convenient location for anything shopping. "
"We stayed in a garden courtyard suite and it was lovely. Extremely spacious, great decor. The location of Planters was absolutely perfect ! We were able to walk to everything around the city. "
"My sister and I stayed here for our trip to Charleston and this hotel did not disappoint. You get exactly what you’re looking for, a historic hotel within walking distance, a beautiful lobby and interior with updated rooms but still having that old charm to it. The room was spacious with 2 large closets and a full length mirror (very much appreciated by my sister and I) The bathroom was smaller but to be expected with older hotels, the only downfall was the plumbing. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest so made for longer showers and the toilets didn’t flush well. But the hotel is in a perfect area. We flew in and didn't have personal transportation and were able to walk all over for great shopping, restaurants and sites. If we decide to return for another trip to Charleston we would definitely stay here again. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel but it’s very convenient to have as well as a coffee shop. "
"Beautiful stay with great views of the Charleston harbor. Especially liked the fire pit by the water in the evening. It was great to gather, share stories, and relax. "
"The staff was SUPER helpful and changed our room when the shower was leaking under floor...they helped with any questions we had. It was a fairly painless experience lol <3"
