"The Hoxton never disappoints. 3rd stay at a Hoxton after Rome and Edinburgh. They are all on par. The staff are lovely. The rooms are gorgeous and just the whole vibe of the place is good. Slightly out from the centre about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo but nice as quiet. Coffee shop in the hotel served nice coffee and there was a small pizzeria over the road ran by the loveliest old man. Drinks in the restaurant were also delicious."

"Globus Urban in Florence is in an excellent location and, although in a older building, the rooms and bathrooms are modern and not at all fussy. The staff was very friendly, helping with translations and directions. Excellent breakfast - both sweet and savory. The central market is a block away for cheap-ish meals, and there’s a self-service laundromat around the corner. Major sites and the main train station are within walking distance. I highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. The room was spacious with beautiful views overlooking the Arno river. The air conditioning worked very well in the room and was much appreciated during a heat wave in August. The location could not be beat. It is away from the major crowds, but still surrounded by amazing shops, restaurants, and historical sites."

"This is our second time staying at this property and it was even better than the last. We stayed in the San Nicolo apartment with patio which was a great fit for our family of 3. It’s sunny, bright and nicely updated. The location is close to but outside of the touristy area which we prefer. Super easy to jump on bus if you’d rather not walk. Highly recommend!"

"This was my favorite hotel out of all the cities I’ve visited in Italy. The staff are kind and the hotel is in walking distance to everything. I didn’t take any taxis during my stay. It’s a 15 minute walk from the train station. It’s close to many restaurants, attractions and stores to shop. They have a beautiful roof top bar over looking Florence"

The shuttle service into Florence was very welcome and prompt. I suggest doing some advance research on the history of the property before you get there - it's fascinating. Highly recommend!"

"There was a fridge and AC in the room which was nice. Check-in desk was friendly, we actually checked in like an hour early and when checking out we checked out 15 minutes late, not charged and were able to drop our bags with a bathroom available in the lobby. The area felt safe at night and there was nothing to complain about. There were larger recycling and trash available on the second floor outside the rooms which was useful to not have so much trash accumulate. There did end up being some ants in the bathroom, we weren't sure where they came from. Did not end up telling staff, wasn't a huge issue or a lot of ants. The last thing was just that Florence's public transport was slightly confusing but we figured it out eventually."
