"A beautiful historic Beacon Hill row house redesigned into a collection of studio apartments with modern bathrooms and kitchenettes but also retaining the elegant old moldings, fireplaces, high ceilings, bay windows etc. I am staying here because my husband is having surgery at Mass General Hospital and it is so great to have such a charming and restful place to stay a short walk from the hospital. A true gift in a difficult time. People should know that it is a row house without an elevator so...
"This property is located in the beacon hill area. It is a small boutique hotel. It has a retro style and feel to it. The staff is amazing and the on site restaurant is five stars! "
"Great location near hospitals restaurants Cambridge and river. Parking expensive but convenient. Rooms are new and good amenities throughout. Attentive staff and solid breakfast and room service. Good stay worth the money"
"Incredible hotel. Absolutely 100% and such good value. Perfect location if going to Boston for a holiday. Clean, nicely air conditioned, lovely bathroom. Slept very well. Coffee and breakfast place was top quality too."
"This property is located right in the heart of downtown Boston on the Freedom Trail. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. The Boston Cream Pie is a must!"
"Very small rooms, but good atmosphere and location and friendly sort of place
Restaurant and bar in the hotel, but does not serve breakfast except for on Saturdays and Sundays"
"The location is superb. It’s close to shopping, places to go and even subway station you can reach through mall so you don’t have to go outside when the weather is too cold or hot. And the big supermarket is just cross the street. Also, Newbury St. is just 5-7 min walk distance as well as the public library.
It was a pleasant stay!!!"

Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. The Valet advised us of the parking procedure and the cost (we knew it was an expensive $60/day but were not going traipse around the city looking for parking). We went into the well-appointed modern lobby and immediately greeted by the...
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The little extras like the waters and snacks in the hallway were such a nice touch. It feels like this place cares about you actually coming back.
My boyfriend and I stayed for Valentine’s Day and upon arriving we were greeted with kindness and 2 glasses of champagne! Check in was perfect. The room was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite hotels for sure. We also ate at my favorite restaurant right 10 steps across the street! We could literally see the entrance right from our room window. It was a beautiful experience here.
The stay was excellent! Very clean & the staff was very friendly & helpful. The doorman Rob is goated, he was a really nice dude! Stay here if you are visiting Boston!
We had an amazing stay!! We experienced very friendly and accommodating interactions with all staff and the room and hotel overall were tremendously clean and comfortable.
This was our second time staying here. The room is not huge but has enough storage like drawers under the bed. We got lucky again to get checked in super early which was much appreciated after taking a cross country red-eye flight. The gym at the basement is well equipped. Front desk staff are friendly & very welcoming. I’d highly recommend this place!!
We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen
and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge.
We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. There are a few cool vegan friendly restaurants in a one block radius that the concierge did not know about - Green something (adjacent to...
Nice, modern hotel at the seaport. Quiet, walkable area with lots of restaurants and great harbor views. Hotel had spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice views, free good breakfast, rooftop patio with firepits and lots of amenities. Self parking at $15 across the street was fantastic.
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 8am even though check in wasn't until 3pm and they gave us a room regardless. They let us check out late because we had a late flight as well. The room was exceptional - clean and comfortable - with a gas fireplace, stock bar, and other wonderful amenities. We will stay here again without a doubt.
everything about our stay was amazing! we stayed for a whole week, from the second we got there until the second we left, the staff was just so amazing and made us feel like family! and the location is PERFECT for anyone visiting boston, especially for celtics games / anything near the TD garden! you just walk a couple steps to get to the td or the food hall ! everything is within walking distance or you can hop on the subway to get anywhere you need!
