"The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are generous and feel spacious although a little dated. Our Son absolutely loves the pool, as do we.
When staying in McLaren Vale this is our accomodation of choice."
"Excellent location with breathtaking views of the best vineyards in McLaren Vale! Super comfortable bed and wonderful star gazing at night. Mark was so knowledgeable about the wines and area at the Cellar Door."
"Very nice caravan park, we stayed in a cabin it was perfect for us. Very close to the beach with a nice cafe and pub nearby in walking distance. Highly recommended "
"The hotel has a great outlook, the room was good, the bed very comfortable. A great place to stay for a relaxing holiday. Lots to do and see in the vicinity."
"This small holiday park worked a treat for our winter break. Clean, freshly decorated cabins, with view onto the ocean, perfect for easy access to beach and coastal walks.
Walking distance from Christies Beach cafes and a short drive to historic Port Noarlunga made for a relaxing stay. Friendly service at the park’s office contributed to a welcoming atmosphere.
We appreciated the quiet environment. This might be different however in summer holiday season.

"Absolutely beautiful! The cabin is stunning. So much room inside, gorgeous views. Outside is scenically stunning. So peaceful and quiet. Will most definitely be staying again.
The walk up to the cabin is beautiful, inside and outside just stunning!"
"We had a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had breakfast and dinner on site and all meals were good.
We would definitely stay here again."
"Very beautiful room with all required amenities. Everything looks like new. Hotel has underground parking, nice restaurants. Nice bar on 4th floor. Beautiful to stay in it."
"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...
"Very nice place and area. Pity the dining wasnt open for dinner. Relaxing in the dayspa was good end to the day. Lovely watching the sunrise in the morning over the vineyards listening to the birds whilst having a coffee"

If museums are on your list of things to see, you might want to browse the collections at Willunga Slate Museum in Willunga. If you want to experience more of the culture Adelaide has to offer, head to Willunga Farmers Market, Wirra Wirra Vineyards, and Maxwell Wines.
A very enjoyable stay. We have stayed before and will continue to stay again on our next trip. Lovely receptionists and polite and welcoming. Beds comfy and room clean.
Clean and spacious to suit our needs. Restaurant was delicious. The band playing all night was loud but we had a sound machine that helped with the noise. Staff was friendly.
A short getaway to relax and play a round of golf in a tranquil setting.
Enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant too.
The room had a small kitchen, dining and lounge area separate from the bedroom and an enormous bathroom.
Will definitely be back!
As soon as we stepped through the door we were treated like VIP's. The girls at the desk were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our room on the 4th floor had a fabulous view of Adelaide. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Tonsley train station was an easy ten minute walk.
Very nice place to stay. Really enjoyed having the kitchenette. Would only suggest, a smaller frying pan be provided. Having just one large pan is not enough.
