"Lovely overnight stay before visiting Beaulieu Motor Museum The room was quirky (low beams). Bed very comfortable & shower was hot. We ate dinner & breakfast at The Filly. Both were very good. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again"

"Hotels.com have asked me "How helpful was the staff?" - it's "were"!!!!! This is their media/marketing dept. Thankfully the Thatched Cottage were so much better and more efficient. It's gorgeous, need to do a bit of ducking but really efficient. Steve in the tearoom doing breakfast was superb and really enhanced the experience. Wife thought the mattress needed changing but that's the only minor criticism. It's a 15th century cottage so be prepared - they didn't have 6'3" people in those days....

"Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"Professional &personable staff, always happy to help-great location with lovely walks around the forest and local restaurants and pubs-a recommendation would be to take a torch for the walk back from the pub and entering the hotel grounds which was quite dark-had a great Easter stay & visited nearby tourist locations-have stayed there before and would definitely go back-highly recommended "
