This hotel was a surprise. I didn't think I' d truly like it so much. The staff was extremely friendly. The decor of my room was genuinely to my persal taste and style. Great location the city market, restaurants, cafes, and social night life. Special note: The hotel's college student employee, sander, was not only willing to help me carry my bags to my room, he handles administrative matters professionally. This hotel was perfectly situated in the core of old Maastricht. It is an older hotel but very well maintained. You are basically steps away from numerous historic sites, shopping, excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars. There is even a movie theater nearby and a grocery store conveniently located on the same block. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the front desk, breakfast, and room cleaning. Oh, and the bed was sooo comfortable! I will absolutely return.
We have stayed here several times when we go to Maastricht. This time, as in the past, was a very positive experience. Our room was ready upon arrival and bigger than we had expected, since it was on the corner. This brought good and some negative, since there was more noise. Now, at the beginning of the university year, there were many noisy students on the square late into the night. But, that is the price one pays if you want a room with a view of the square! We loved it overall.
