Beach Hotels in Guatemala

A perfect little spot for our two day getaway. Ac worked perfectly, the staff was friendly, the pool the perfect little spot to cool down and the beda confy (pillows a bit stiff for my taste, but survived). I liked the convenience of orsering drinks and breakfast from there and then we'd walk to town for lunch and dinner. Maybe a 10 minute walk on the beach from Cocori. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was great value for the money. You are about a 10 minute ride from the city center finding a tuc tuc was pretty easy. We were charged anywhere from 10 to 25 Q per ride per person. It depended on the person and they can be negotiated with. The place is a steep walk up so just consider that if you have a lot of bags.

We travelled to San Buenaventura for a quick weekend get-a-way with the kids and had a surprisingly great time here! The two level suites were great, with wonderful views of the lake, fireplace, extra ponchos for the cold, good beds, fully equipped kitchen, great private terrace with carbon grill. The pool area is really nice, well kept gardens. Breakfast was a bit on the expensive side, but good, we had some delicious honey crepes. This is our fourth time staying at Maya Jade, we love it. It’s private and quiet. The pools are great. We will stay here again. We live in Alaska and we will fly to Guatemala just to stay here.

They were very accommodating and upgraded our room and had the tiniest most adorable kitten on site that became our best friend! Very well priced and will be back with friends in the future .

This location is outstanding, Great amenities, great location . It’s a little tricky to find using Google and the only minor issue was there appeared to be ants the loved that location as well .

Tuvimos una experiencia muy buena. Las instalaciones son bonitas y amplias, el parqueo es amplio y hay un espacio techado. En su mayoría todo estaba limpio, hay aspectos de limpieza por mejorar como las duchas y el parqueo techado, pero en general es un espacio que tiene todo lo que uno busca para descansar y relajarse. No almorzamos en el lugar, pero los desayunos no solo son incluidos, sino que también son buenos. Los precios de bebidas y almuerzos nos son baratos, pero tampoco tan inflados,...

Our overall experience was great! We absolutely enjoyed the natural beauty of the property. We did not feel safe outside of the hotel area.
