"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

"Set in such a tranquil, peaceful setting by the abbey and river, the hotel has ample parking and is a great place to relax and take long walks. The staff were friendly and courteous. It was nice to find a hotel offering vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options for meals. The breakfast was delicious."
