Our first visit to Astoria. Found the city to be charming. Happened to be there for Art Walk and the galleries were lively. Lots of people out enjoying the bars and restaurants. Did quite a bit of hiking in the area and they were all great hikes.

Area has a unique vibe - seamen & fishing heritage, tough work ethic, brave the fickle & wet weather, people proud of their heritage, repurpose their old buildings. Recommend Astoria Brewing & Vineside.

Love Astoria! Quirky little town away from the usual overcrowded beach towns but close enough to get to them as needed.

Astoria was surprisingly delightful. The river walk was nice, and I even walked all the way up to the Column with my dog. Antique stores and a couple of the restaurants we tried were fun. While there, people were about but it did not feel crowded.
" Beautiful artsy place - architectural gem (Astor suites). Helpful reception and very nicely decorated room - clean and has lots of thoughtful touches!"
"The building has beautiful old charm. There's enough nostalgia left to appriciate the building, yet the rooms are updated and comfortable, integrating the old and the new. Our bed was very comfortable, helping us to get a great night sleep.
The shower was OMG amazing. The water pressure, combined with the large shower head was absolutely wonderful.
In all, this was a great stay, highly recommended, and we would stay there again. "

"Great service all around. We forgot a couple of things and the staff went out of their way to help us get those items for our stay. Comfortable rooms and beds. And a great breakfast. Will stay there again. "
"The room was clean and comfortable, great bed! Not the property’s fault but there were fireworks being set off very near the hotel after quiet hours. Great location, I walked for coffee and meals with no problems "
