Hard to find it on the beginning, I wrote an email to ask the best way to get there, since my flight was very late, didn’t get an answer, you should help better with directions before someone gets there, everything else was perfect
This was one of the loveliest hotel stays I've ever had! The staff were wonderful from the time I arrived until the time I departed. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was delightful with the rain shower. I particularly loved the blackout curtains that were set up to overlap each other and therefore let absolutely zero light in. I slept really well, especially since there was minimal noise. I missed the complimentary breakfast the first two mornings...
The hotel was well situated to the train station, public transportation hubs, and to shopping. The only issue we had was there are multiple Comfort Hotels in the area and the address Hotels.com gave us for Xpress was to a different Comfort Hotel, luckily within walking distance. The check-in agent at the incorrect hotel had apparently dealt with this mistake a number of times and quickly directed us up the street to the correct property.
The hotel is located very close to the national theater and very easy to get to by train from the airport. I booked a double room because it was the same price as a single and I am so glad I did. I was on the seventh floor and my room allowed a nightly sunset. The staff, all of the staff was extraordinary, the breakfast was ample, and my room was so comfortable. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, and the service from everyone we encountered was professional, and courteous - top-notch.
What made our stay, though, was Philip at the front desk. We had left a backpack at a museum earlier in our trip and only discovered it after closing time. Since we were staying a couple of hours away and wouldn't be back, we called the museum the next morning to have it shipped to our Oslo hotel later that week. They graciously overnighted it...
Stay was great. Staff was excellent and location was perfect for getting around the city to explore. We cannot wait to book another trip and would not stay anywhere else in the city.
