This hotel is across the street from the famous King David Hotel, located close to the old city and a few minutes walk from Ben Yehuda Street shopping. It's a modern, clean and cheerfully decorated place with friendly, courteous staff. Amazing little hotel, VERY CLEAN and neat! Excellent service, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Would stay there another dozen times if opportunity presented. Just 2.5 miles from city center. Bus close but walking was more fun for meeting and interacting with the Israeli people.

The hotel is very good and new and well located if you want to be in Modiin. The staff are helpful and I found the breakfast to be more than adequate. On the downside it is far too expensive for what it is - a nice midrange hotel in Modiin rather than a luxury hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. It also feels a bit cheaply built (e.g. signs falling off the walls) but as it's new that is not an issue at present. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time in Jerusalem, in great part thanks to staying at the Sephardic House. We started our stay in another hotel, but we moved over to the Sephardic House and improved the quality of our trip substantially. The hotel location is unbeatable; we were 8-10 minutes walking from all the Old City attractions. Looking back, this is the only place I would stay when visiting Jerusalem. Amir the receptionist was excellent in accommodating us when we checked in/out. He has a Great personality.

I really appreciate staff’s hospitality. I booked the room without breakfast. But they provided me complimentary breakfast considering my long flight from Japan and tiredness. In addition, my check in time was from 2 pm. But they also provided early check in. Thanks to their heartfelt hospitality, my stay was really good:) I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. And I’ll definitely stay here if I visit Jerusalem again! Thank you for all staffs and excellent property!

Great location to Old Jerusalem. Handy Yellow gas station and convenient store next door for snacks. Most of the staff was excellent. We loved two of the bell boys that were always so friendly and helpful. One was Soloman (really tall young man), and the other one was Gill. Our favorite taxie driver was Golani. He made our trip!!! He drove us over to the Jaffa Gate, but first took us up to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic pic of the old city. He even cut an olive branch from one of the trees...

This hotel is in a perfect location to walk to the old city. There is a shopping mall nearby and several eateries. Parking is also near via Safra Square. We would recommend and plan to return.

Great relaxation just outside Jerusalem in the midst of a green forest.

I am very picky when it comes to hotels...cleanliness, service, style, decor...I notice it all. Alegra was truly perfection! I hope to make it back one day. It really is a special place.

Outstanding service and perfect location for your pilgrimage to the Holy Land. It's located across from the New Gate and a short 10 min walk to the Holy Sepulcher. The staff was wonderful and the restaurants offered a terrific menu as well as an amazing view of Jerusalem. From a spiritual standpoint, we were able to attend mass everyday at the chapel and it was a perfect way to reflect on our day.
