Climb 740 steps up El Peñón de Guatapé for views that justify every huffing breath and Instagram post. "This place was excellent, we enjoyed it. The breakfast was very good. The staff, Sandra and Joseph were excellent help with everything. The view from our room and the jacuzzi were amazing, it was quiet at night very enjoyable. From the hotel it was easy to walk everywhere. Sandra was very friendly."

"Everything was great! Only complaint is the noise levels first thing in the mornings. Tons of noise from the steel doors slamming and the staff working from early in morning. That’s the only downfall."

"We loved our stay! But be aware that there is no AC. There is only a fan. Plan accordingly. We loved the free continental breakfast, it was good. Also, stunning view from our bedroom window and access to the pool and jacuzzi. 9/10. The only reason I dont give it a 10/10 is because of the lack of AC in the rooms. You have to take a Tuk Tuk to get to the downtown Guatape area, or the Bus Terminal. There are no ubers. But the Tuk Tuks are affordable and reliable. There are not many restaurants in the area, other than the one at the hotel."
