The room was very clean and the cleaners came in daily topping up waters, towels etc. The hot tub was always a welcoming sight after a long day exploring. Breakfast at the Joiners arms was excellent. The cheerful cleaning staff and the thoes in the kitchens who supplied delicious food. We loved our stay and will highly recommend this hotel to thoes looking for an upmarket venue with a great vibe."

"The position of the hotel is super and we took advantage of the nearness to the harbour by taking 2 trips out round the the farce islands and visited holy island by boat too The staff were very helpful and the parking facilities were limited but we were lucky to find a space and the car stayed put for the 3 days we were there The breakfast was excellent with good choice of hot or cold and gave you a good start to the day and the evening meals were varied and good quality Fortunately the weather was also excellent and we really did enjoy our trip to the north east"
