Stroll the scenic pedestrian walkway for stunning sunset views or visit the iconic pier stretching into turquoise waters. The Meteorite Museum offers a quirky break from beach time, while nearby ecological reserves beckon nature lovers. You'll find fresh seafood at restaurants ranging from casual beach shacks to waterfront terraces with colorful umbrellas. Most hotels and vacation rentals offer easy beach access. Residence Inn by Marriott Merida
Hyatt Place Merida/Via Montejo
"Great location! Room was very clean and comfortable and Staff at front Desk was very helpful"
Hotel Playa Linda
"pretty well center, restaurants, stores, OXXO and Easy access to the beach. I like that there were cámaras in every corner of the stairs and one or more staffs were always at the front entrance and WiFi was strong. felt safe as a solo female traveler. The room was never humid like some others beach hotels even if you have the AC on. If you want a peaceful night, I won’t recommend the balcony view because there will be kids and people shouting, playing and music very late in the night and noises early in the morning, but not problem for me. The view of the beach its beautiful I wish the hotel had an infinite pool or a good rooftop garden. other than that I will definitely be back to Hotel playa linda because it was definitely un hotel muy lindo"

Hotel Hacienda Inn Aeropuerto
Holiday Inn Merida by IHG
"The location of this property is close to Paseo Montejo which is where many restaurants and monuments are at. Additionally, they have an awesome restaurant in front of hotel that offers dinner buffet and the staff are friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend it to families and couples. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. No complaints!!!!"
