Diliman's sprawling university grounds give you a much-needed breather from Manila's urban intensity. The tree-lined Academic Oval and expansive Sunken Garden offer peaceful spots for strolls among Filipino students. Art lovers can explore the Vargas Museum's contemporary works while culture enthusiasts catch performances at UP Theater. Quezon Memorial Circle and Ninoy Aquino Parks provide green escapes when you need to recharge. Getting around is simple with two metro stations—Quezon Avenue and GMA-Kamuning—connecting you to the city. Student-friendly eateries serve affordable Filipino comfort food, with nearby Maginhawa Street offering trendy cafes. Budget hostels and mid-range accommodations cater mostly to visiting academics and families exploring campus attractions.

Cubao
Cubao buzzes with energy as Metro Manila's premier shopping and entertainment district. Dive into retail therapy at Gateway Mall and Farmers Plaza, or catch a basketball game at the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum. Culture seekers can explore Art In Island or catch performances at New Frontier Theater, while foodies sample authentic Filipino street eats alongside mall dining options. Getting around is a breeze with both MRT and LRT stations connecting you to the entire city. Accommodations tend toward budget-friendly hotels catering to transit passengers. The neighborhood thrives day and night with shoppers, commuters, and entertainment-seekers making this vibrant transit hub pulse with local flavor.

Eastwood
Eastwood City buzzes with the energy of Manila's corporate elite and after-work revelers. The gleaming office towers and upscale condos create a sleek urban island where professionals work hard and play harder. Shoppers flock to Eastwood Mall for retail therapy while the Central Plaza hosts concerts and events that keep the vibe lively well into the evening. Food lovers can travel the world without leaving the neighborhood, from Korean barbecue to Japanese sushi bars. Getting around is simple with abundant ride-sharing options and good connections to major city routes. Most visitors stay in business hotels or serviced apartments that cater to corporate travelers.

Getting around couldn't be easier with two MRT stations—Quezon Avenue and GMA-Kamuning—connecting you to the rest of the city. Learn more about Quezon City
Beneath the shadow of Quezon Memorial Circle's three-winged monument, a city of contrasts unfolds. Foodies flock to Maginhawa Street, where food parks serve everything from crispy pork sisig to artisanal ice cream. Art in Island museum invites visitors to become part of the paintings – possibly the most photographable attraction in the metropolis. UP Diliman campus offers both cultural immersion and green spaces where students debate philosophy under ancient acacia trees. For retail therapy, SM North EDSA and TriNoma malls stand like twin commercial fortresses. The city's entertainment industry earns its 'City of Stars' nickname, with TV studios where lucky visitors might spot Filipino celebrities between takes.

Luxent Hotel
"The main advantage is the location. It’s close to everything. However, breakfast can be improved. In my opinion, they charge too much for the kind of breakfast we get. I stayed there several times and I noticed no one was checking on the food if it still look good, or check if the food containers (pots/pan etc) are empty. If I get to breakfast by 830am, most of the food looked stale or dried up, mostly unappetizing. As far as cleanliness, the rooms are clean enough, for the most part. I stayed in the prima room and I noticed a stain on the carpet. Also, they do not check or replenish the coffee /drinks everyday, unless you ask. And they do not check for garbage. Even though I don’t like my room to be cleaned everyday, I like the garbage to be emptied, and the coffee bar /drinks bar checked and replenished. These things can be improved."
