"Easy car parking. Beautiful manor house with lots of history, artifacts and rustic features. The corridors are a little creaky but carpeted and steps leading to the upstairs rooms are shallow and with handrail. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room had all the necessary things - kettle, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. WiFi was easy to connect to, there was an information point with leaflets for local attractions and the restaurant easy to book on...

"Beautiful, large bedroom, comfortable bed, stunning view. Everything spotlessly clean. Exceptional bathroom. There was a problem with the toilet which was sorted by the time I came back from my day out and about. Friendly breakfast servers. I asked for more milk for my room, which they happily provided. Parking in the street wasn't an issue, costing £18 per day. Great location."
