Getting around couldn't be easier with metro stops at Spadina Avenue and excellent walkability throughout the area. Travelers can feast on Ethiopian, Caribbean, and Mexican cuisine from casual vendors before browsing vinyl records and handmade jewelry. The market's Victorian houses painted in bright colors perfectly capture its creative, non-commercial spirit.

Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites
"Well, in order to get a reasonable hotel rate, we had to be 10 kms. from our venue. Everything downtown was a minimum of $700. a night ! Absurd. The hotel was fine but it was showing its age. ( built in 1970 ) Oh yeah....there is no reason to charge $22. for a glass of wine. Just saying."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown
"Bel accueil, bon service pour le check in, ils ont respecté toutes nos demandes! Le service aux chambres était super aussi 🙂"
Hotel Riu Plaza Toronto
"Great location and hotel. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Great variety. Only complaint was the drinks at the bar were very watered down. Horrible! Paid with tip $50 for a pina colada and aperol spritz. There was very little alcohol in them."

"Good"
Hilton Toronto
"Everything was perfect aside from the fact that I picked a room on the 29th floor to take in the views of the city and ended up on the 5th floor. The staff did try to reimburse for me for breakfast and when they failed to do so they offered me Hilton Honors points (not enough to do anything). Overall good experience."
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto
"Loved the area and where the hotel was it is quite well maintained and close enough to Toronto to take an uber or train to see the city. There were a few restaurants inside the casino to eat . It was easy to access everything including a horse race if you like. Would stay again the food at the cas u al restaurant was very good ."
Cambridge Suites Toronto
"Great location for getting to know Toronto. Arrived later than expected due technicals issues at Customs but was checked in super quickly. Suite was as expected and works well with the sofa bed and rollaway for two children (tween & teen). The rollaway was requested at booking but was not in room on arrival. One call and the bed arrived and was set up within 10 minutes - so no major issue. Breakfast was sufficient. We had it twice and it had different options both times. Staff were helpful. Gym on site - very small but hot tub is good."
Town Inn Suites Hotel
"We ended up switching rooms because first room was not clean. But staff was excellent in making the switch and moving our luggage while we were out enjoying TO."
