"The Hotel Caribe has incredible neocolonial charm and lush tropical gardens. The massive pool was a highlight, the Bocagrande location is highly convenient, and the 12:00 PM check-out was a great bonus. Perfect mix of resort relaxation and city convenience!"

"The hotel itself is very nice with a great bathroom and a super comfortable bed. The only thing is that the beach is across the street and it’s currently under construction. This means you have to walk a block to the left or right to access the beach. Once you’re on the beach, the vendors are relentless! You have to rent an umbrella/chairs if you haven’t brought your own and there is no way you can relax without someone bothering you. They are even in the ocean wanting to rent you a boogie board! We only went to the beach once because it was that bad and I’m usually someone who will be on the beach all day every day. This isn’t the hotel’s fault but wanted to make other travelers aware."

"From the moment I arrived at this hidden gem of a bed and breakfast, I knew I was going to enjoy every minute of my stay. From the charming character of the property to the genuine warmth and hospitality of the owner and staff, I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The breakfast is simply unparalleled, and the location couldn’t be better—nestled on a quaint, picturesque street just steps from everything Getsemaní has to offer. I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else the next time I’m in Cartagena. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Les Lezards, for such a memorable stay!"

"We stayed at Getsemaní Hotel in March and had a wonderful overall experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location. We were able to walk to so many incredible restaurants, attractions, and neighborhoods, making it easy to explore Cartagena on foot. One thing that really stood out was the front door staff. They were always friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and eager to help with recommendations, transportation, or anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The only downsides were that there was construction taking place right on the corner during our stay, which created some noise, although that's obviously outside of the hotel's control. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be the pool and bar experience. There didn't seem to be enough staff available, so service was slower than expected. It would also be nice if music started earlier by the pool. Guests relaxing poolside at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. should be able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with music rather than waiting until later in the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend Getsemaní Hotel. The beautiful property, outstanding location, and exceptional hospitality from the staff made it a memorable stay. With a few improvements to the pool experience, it would easily be a five-star hotel."
