For a quick overnight trip, it sufficed. I was in 502--The room was a little dated...wall paper peeling, mix matched old chairs, frayed carpet. The bathroom was clean and the shower seemed relatively updated. The refrigerator is NOT a refrigerator just FYI- its a "cooling box" at best and does not get cold enough to safely store food. There is no "lobby coffee or tea" after breakfast so you have to make Starbucks run. The coffee in the room is not..coffee, coffee.
The breakfast was really good since you could get a fresh omelet and the coffee was hot. Can't ask for more. What I didn't like is that they record your room number giving you the impression that if you wanted to come back to get fruit or yogurt before they closed, you couldn't. I have been to tons of hotels with breakfast buffets and never encountered that.
My check in was a breeze.I walked into a group of kids and I was immediately deflated to be honest. But I either was far from them, or they turned out to be well behaved. I also liked the ability to text the front desk with questions.
Overall, good location. Near freeway. Near restaurants (that close kinda early) and near other hotels as well.
