The location, aesthetic, and air conditioning were the best parts of this stay. The apartment photographs well, is in a convenient area for exploring Lisbon, and the AC worked well.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Access is difficult and this is important for future guests to understand: you cannot realistically get directly to the property by Uber or car, which makes arrival and departure with luggage challenging. The apartment is also up approximately four stories of steep stairs.
Check-in was unnecessarily complicated because the key had to be picked up separately from the property.
The internet never worked during my stay. This was not slow or intermittent Wi-Fi — it simply was not functional. For anyone who needs reliable internet, I would strongly reconsider this property unless that issue has been confirmed as resolved.
Noise was also a major problem, with the surrounding area remaining extremely loud late into the night, at times until around 4:00 AM. There was also a noticeable damp/moldy smell inside the apartment.
I raised concerns during the stay and ultimately stayed because relocating would have caused even more disruption to my trip.
The apartment has some positives, but between the access, stairs, key pickup, nonfunctional internet, noise, and damp smell, I would not stay here again. Future guests should carefully consider these limitations before booking.
