Excellent location. Great staff. Rooms are immaculate and decorated beautifully. This is my 2nd time staying here. Lovely hotel. Breakfast is amazing. While not close to all the major museums, it is extremely close to the buses that will take you to them in minutes. Also, only about 3 blocks from the bus/train station. Bus 200 will take you from/to Madrid Barajas airport. If I ever come back to Madrid, I will stay here.
Room was large and very clean. Hotel location is just a 5 minute walk to the Ave. de las Americas bus terminal which provides city bus service to the airport and other areas as well as inter city service to other areas in Spain. Several good restaurants very close by.
Incredibly unique styling and decor of the hotel. Each floor had it's own futuristic design (favorite was the 4th floor!) Concierge was extraordinary in helping us get the right room and make flight changes. Breakfast was outstanding, mixing "western" styles with the local cuisine. There were more amenities to the hotel to even be able to experience in our 1 night stay. This was a great choice. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center in an upscale, quiet neighborhood, keeping the traveler away from the hustle and bustle when comes the time to retreat and energize for the next sight seeing day! Everything a tourist needs to see in this city is within walking distance. I highly recumbent this place.
Hotel exterior was deceiving.
Convenient to airport and Metro to other areas of Madrid.
Interior was attractive and modern. Rooms were somewhat dated, but very large in comparison to typical European style, clean and comfortable. Bed was firm. Restaurant food was good quality for the $$$.
Everything was great except for two things. First, there was no coffee maker in the room, which is an absolute must for me in the morning. Second, there was no bar soap or wash cloths. If you're not going to have bar soap, which I strongly prefer, then you need to have wash cloths for the liquid soap, right?
This hotel is conveniently located near several points of interest, especially the Atocha train station. The hotel is on a corner which makes it easy to grab a taxi. We walked 10 minutes to Prado Museum. The room was quite comfortable for 4 people. We stayed overnight to grab the train so it was perfect!
Hotel is amazing! Location, all renewed (hotel and room), spacious room, parking lot on-site($21), nice reception service, open 24h!!! Plus: great social area for coffee and work over the reception.
Two negative points:
# I tried to manage the room temperature from the room and it did not work. It is December so it is not a problem but maybe it would be an issue if it was summer.
# there was some hair on the floor and in the bathroom sink, shower.. I believe cleaning could be improved.
The hotel was very modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean throughout and very comfortable. The hotel location is close to restaurants, shopping, and major attractions.
