"There are a number of oddly negative reviews about this place. THEY ARE TOTALLY WRONG. Sure, the room had very minor blemishes (of no consequence). But the location has terrific taxi access, is in a very safe clean neighborhood with upscale shops, an indoor mall, VIPS (Mexican/Spanish Denny’s), Starbucks, and a cafe. "Outstanding hotel in the heart of Madrid! The room was bright with patio, and exceptionally clean. Plenty of towels and consumables-in the room. Staff at check-in and check-out were very helpful. Excellent restaurants close by too. We will stay again the next time we are in Madrid. Overall exceptional hotel!"
