"Very nice experience overall. We requested assistance with our luggage during checkout, but due to a staff shortage, we had to bring it down ourselves. It wasn’t a major issue, but that’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Checking in was smooth and the lobby was beautiful. We requested a non-smoking room, which we got, and they also provided the buckwheat pillows as previously requested. We also received a surprising complimentary welcome snacks, with herbal dessert later on the first day. The room we got was beautiful with every traveller’s needs like toothbrushes and actual fabric towels. Plenty of electrical outlets for different electronic and also AC included. The bathroom specifically needed some more maintenance though, especially around the sink, and the bathroom door could use another layer of paint. Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of selection of Chinese style foods. There also some cute pastries and fresh vegetables and fruits. The self-serve laundry was convenient, but it would be better if smoking wasn’t allowed, as that could be smelled in the fitness room right across from it and not very pleasant for people working out and for others doing their laundry and hanging their clothes there. For less confusion, ann improvement would be to have sticky paper that could be attached to the dryer/washers noting which room the clothes belong to, like I’ve seen in other hotels. Overall great stay :)"

"Excellent location with all necesary shops, rea houses, and restaurants around and access to great sites for visitors. Hotel is well designed and maintained, with helpful staff providing great information. Note if you take a taxi to the hotel, the driver can not send you directly to the hotel, but a easy walk towards front gate. Great stay, and we will surely be back for our next trip."

"Very thoughtful and personable boutique hotel. The place is handy to local eateries and Kuaizhai Alley. It provides snacks and drinks in the room and light plum tea, porridge, coffee and teas in the lobby. Free laundry service is a great bonus! Highly recommended."
