"I am not inclined to stay in the city of Wellington as driving is a pain with lots of one way streets, parking problems, road works etc. But it was fine! PARKING has to be reserved at $30(?) per night and I don’t know this when I tried to park in the last car park— which didn’t matter as there was no way I could fit in it— all 4 are under size parks. You might fit if you have a tiny car. (I have a rav4) There’s a car park building across the road— down a v short lane. I parked on the roadside (8am-8pm weekends) and went to the vehicle at 9am on Sunday- didn’t pay parking and didn’t get a ticket (might just be lucky). FOOD was conveniently across the road— a really good Chinese restaurant with extensive menu."
