Loved staying here! The location was good for us -- we enjoy walking, and were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. There are restaurants close by. The complimentary spa was AMAZING!!!! Truly an exceptional experience - the hotel staff is one of the most warm, welcoming , and helpful I’ve encountered. Truly set a wonderful tone for the property - the hotel was a vibe, chic room, great cocktails at Barfly downstairs- lovely bathrooms and linens - also was nice to receive a not and bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival in the room. Don't let the unfortunate name "boardinghouse" scare you away. This is an excellent hotel to stay at while in Wien and we would not hesitate to stay here again. The property is located in a nice quiet and safe neighborhood. It is conveniently close and within walking distance to famous viennese attractions and shops. The room is clean and modern and the AC is the best considering it is sweltering hot outside. I recommend staying at this property.
Great hotel and good service. However my room was not spacious or luxurious as the photos. When I made a comment to the front desk, they responded with “ were not responsible for our marketing team .”when I asked about arranging a car transfer to airport they said to come down and they’d call a taxi. I was in room 1006 x5 nights. The location was perfect, very walkable with good public transportation. I felt very safe walking around even after nightfall. I didn't choose the breakfast option so I can't account for that. The room was very spacious, shower floor was a bit slippery so I made use of the safety handle. They also pointed out some places where to eat local food without me even asking.
