8/10 Good
"This is a great hotel and did exactly what we needed, which was a rest after a tour of Columbia.
We stayed in a club room on the 26th Floor. We had a few breakfasts in the lounge and in the evening had drinks and snacks most evenings, and had a full dinner one evening, it was well worth the extra money.
The hotel restaurant was lovely, but pretty empty in the evening and quite pricey.
If you come out of the hotel through the back shopping mall and turn left, there are a few restaurant options.
The breakfast which is served in the main restaurant was super busy, we had to wait 25 minutes for a table, which is why we spent the rest of the time having breakfast in the lounge.
The pool area was lovely and big, it was very windy when we were there, but not sure if that is always the case. There were a number of families there, so not a relaxing area because of the children splashing etc, something to note. Also there seemed to be a bit of an issue with people putting towels down to hold the sunbeds but not actually being by the pool, this meant quite often there were no sun beds spare.
All in all it was a lovely stay, but next time i would stay in the Old Town in a smaller hotel."
"Everything was good
Except the location
We had to take a cab in order to go to the landmark places
The taxi drivers are swindlers
The low ball Americans into taxi prices, double the amount

2/10 Terrible
"I would give this resort a 1-star rating. While arrival and check-in went smoothly, the overall experience quickly declined.
One major issue was the language barrier. There was a clear lack of staff who could effectively communicate, which made even simple requests frustrating and difficult.
During our stay, service was consistently poor. On two separate occasions at the pool, I requested drinks for my spouse and me, and both times, the request was never fulfilled. Another day, I ordered room service and received a notification through the app saying the food had been delivered—but nothing ever arrived. When I called to follow up, communication was again an issue. We eventually went to dinner, only to be told our food had “finally arrived.” Completely unacceptable.
I also experienced an issue poolside where I was told I could not have a bottle of alcohol, while others clearly were allowed to. This felt inconsistent and, frankly, discriminatory. I felt racially targeted and did not observe others being treated in the same manner, which made the experience even more upsetting.
The only positive part of this trip was dining at the Portofino restaurant. The staff there—Maria and Samir—were incredibly kind, professional, and provided excellent service. They were the highlight of an otherwise disappointing stay.
Overall, I would not recommend this resort based on my experience.
