"I recently visited Vienna to visit Christmas markets. The hotel is in an absolutely perfect location…tucked behind Peterkirche. It is only steps away from many major downtown attractions, but is nestled in a quiet nook. My room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and good quality. I am a mature solo female traveler and I felt very safe here. I would highly recommend Hotel Wandl for your stay in Vienna. Happy Travels!!!"

Recommend to visit Rebhuhn nearby if you want a traditional Viennese hunting menu :) But be ready for no apfelstrudel and small portions."

"I really liked this place even though the room was tiny. Very very central. 5 minutes walk from the Vienna State Opera and main shopping street. Really nice part of town. Great neighborhood. Really nice restaurant on ground floor. Incredible restaurant and bar on roof. Do not miss that. The design of the hotel was very nice just pay the extra and get the bigger room."
