We loved our stay at Villa Mojana Bellagio, it is a small luxury boutique with amazing views of the mountains and the lake.
Our room was very nice and comfortable bedding, from our balcony we enjoyed a glass of wine in the afternoon and a cup of coffee in the morning with outstanding views.
We had dinner at the terrace and the food from the chef was excellent. Th breakfast was amazing, there is nothing that we didn't like about this place. Our next stay in Bellagio definitely, it will be at...
Absolutely loved it. Villla is charming. Our room had wonderful views of lake como
Walk down hill for a swim.
Delicious breakfast too
Sad we couldn’t stay lionger
This property far exceeded our expectations. Staff is wonderfully attentive and helpful. Rooms have incredible views and terraces. Rooms outstanding. Breakfast and all the many restaurants great. Easy to get to Lake Como (Menaggio) for a boat cruise or for a day of sightseeing in Lugano but so nice to come back to the peace and tranquility of this special place at a fraction of the price for a comparable property on hectic Lake Como. We had hotel organize our transportation and excursions in...
We had the most wonderful stay. The Hotel is exceptional with fine interior design and art along with all the luxurious amenities. We stayed in a room with the most beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend getting a room with a view. Our Breakfast and dinners were delicious, our room was spotless and pristine, the spa was super relaxing and the staff were Top Notch. We had the best time and recommend this beautiful hotel to others to enjoy.
The property, rooms and staff were all amazing. The family that owns the hotel are very hospitable and welcoming. We had a lovely evening chatting with them about a local festival l. It was very memorable.
However, if you did not rent a car buyer beware that it is a long and steep climb/walk to the hotel from any bus stops or ferries. And Ubers/taxis are hard to come by. Other than that the walk itself is beautiful just a little bit difficult.
If you’re anything like us, you dream of finding that perfect hideaway—somewhere nestled in the breathtaking embrace of Lake Como, yet blissfully away from the tourist stampede. Well, let me tell you, Villa Reverie is where dreams come true, and it’s officially bumped to the top of our travel bucket list!
From the moment we arrived, it felt like we’d been whisked away into a romantic movie. The staff—Matteo, Davido, Jessica, and Deborah—greeted us like old friends with warm smiles and a glass...
Small hotel with few amenities on property but perfect if you are looking for a room right on the water and easily walkable. The staff was very helpful with any request. Also offered complimentary transfer to the train or ferry which was very convenient.
What can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing, from the top-notch hotel service at the front desk to the property cleanliness; it outshined every hotel I’ve ever been to in my life. The town of Menaggio is very walkable and can be seen in half a day, so if you want to fill up your itinerary, you can take a ferry to Bellagio, or Varenna. We opted for breakfast, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. I absolutely loved their orange juice, as well as the variety of food they offered, from the...
We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The unique property (which requires/includes a fun ride in a golf cart for transporting your luggage) is only 7 months old so everything is new and modern. The views of Lake Como overall and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. Chef Alessandro is super talented - - so much so - we chose to eat dinner at the hotel every night during our stay which is not something we’d normally ever do! Each night was a 5-star dining experience. The...
Hotel Lago provided an exceptional experience! The view and location were beyond perfect…in addition to the beautiful accommodations, the Hotel Lago team were so thoughtful and went above and beyond. They exceeded our expectations. We had the best time and will definitely be back!
A new hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful planning our day trips. Food was was delicious! Rooftop bar is recommended! Had the king superior room although its their smallest room it was large enough for my wife and I. Location is perfect, within walking distance to everything. Would stay again.
Where do I begin?? What this stunning 18 room hotel lacks in size definitely overcompensates in elegance and outstanding service. From check-in through check-out we had the most remarkable tailor made experience and could not recommend this hotel more. If you ever have the pleasure of staying here take advantage of any of the butler escorted experiences. Alberto along w/ good friend Christian were the dynamic duo behind an unforgettable journey throughout and around Lake Como and surrounding...
Great hotel. On the lake. Clean and modern. Very comfortable and pleasant experience. Rooms are not large by US standards, but still big enough to be plenty comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good, and service at onsite restaurant was impressive. Glad I had a car. Seems like hotel would be pretty inconvenient without one. Hotel is not really central, so go elsewhere if you want to be in the center of the action and don’t want to drive (or navigate infrequent and somewhat opaque ferry...
Hotel staff service is excellent, served chilled juice at check in and always were helpful. Recommend having them set up a rental boat for you! The pool is heated and comfortable. Close to town. Only complaint was the bed is to firm. But I'd still come back happily!!
