Hotels in San José Ixtapa

I wanted a nice, quiet environment where I could relax without the hustle and bustle a typical beach environment brings. I didn't want vendors bothering me every few moments nor share a beach with 200 other strangers. This is why Capella was an excellent choice! The rooms with a private-edge infinity pool are a must for couples wanting to relax by the pool with a nice drink in hand. We will be back!

Ensueno de Fuga Hote is clean, the staff is very friendly, the owner bakes fresh bread every day. The hotel is close to the beach and the hotel provides towels. It is very pleasen to be in the pool. We are going back.

The location is great with a short 10-15 minute walk to town either by surface street along the canal or the path along the water. Rooms are rustic and comfortable with private deck, hammock, fridge, coffee maker, daily maid service providing bottled water and even nightly turn down service where they replace the flower petals on your bed with something like coconut macaroon cookies. in the afternoons there was a bottle of tequila out for sampling in the lobby. A nice touch. Good food at the...

Perfect location! One could just stay their whole trip at the Casa and enjoy all the amenities it has to offer, or go out and explore the surrounding areas and what it has to offer! We did both and it was so easy, fun, relaxing, safe and rejuvenating! It's our plan to go back next year!

Great stay

Muy buena propiedad la dueña del hotel muy buena persona maravillosa vibra 10/10 mejor hotel para hospedaje en troncones me voy satisfecha del establecimiento y de las lindas personas del establecimiento y del pueblo 100% recomendable

We spent a week at Hotel Casa de la Palma and were welcomed graciously by the manager, Jose. Jose gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The hotel is next to the market close to great restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. The hotel was very clean and secure. The resident cat, Misha, greeted us every time we returned from our day. We spent our days at the beach or doing activities and was nice to come back in the afternoon to cool off in the pool. ...

Really loved this place and will return!! The beach is amazing ..... kind of a charcoal gray with gold specks all over! And soooooo clean ... and nice swimming right out in front of. The food was great, although you have to like to try new things. They had so many choices, you couldn't help but find something you liked. The staff always went out of their way to help you. It does help if you know at least a little Spanish, but if you try to use a little Spanish and tell them you are...

I read some of the other reviews and must say I too have some of the same concerns : children running around the pool , food being mediocre at best... But the things that were a negative in my mind were out of the hotels control. Parents need to handle their children better , not all kids were running wild 🤔😊, the food at an all inclusive resort is always going to be about quantity vs quality when trying to feed that many people that are over indulging ( myself included ). The sit down...

We loved our time at Tres.Muejeres. Troncones is. Quiet town and relaxing is a premium. Most staff were wonderful. Housekeeping was great and helpful as was front desk staff (wish I remembered names - one nice gentleman didnt speak English, but with my little Spanish we managed - the other was new and spoke English). However, there were moments the entire staff would congregate on the common areas and it seemed they were talking about us. They looked at us, laughed, and said some words that I...

Every single member of the staff was friendly, respectful, considerate, and earnest. I have stayed at luxury hotels all over the world, including in Hawaii, and I have never come across a more caring staff. The attitude toward the guest is "this is your home." And when you are there you feel like part of a small family. I wish I had taken more pictures of the staff & I. A very special thanks to Edgar, Huber, and David.

I loved the calmness, peacefulness and Resort-type atmosphere. The staff provided A-1 customer service in the restaurant, in the beach and pool area. Everyone was very accommodating! My suite was a promotion, which was great, but I was very surprised to find out that when I checked out I was charged a 3% lodging tax, 16% sales tax, 7% service charge, 8% Resort fee. These taxes came up to 34% more on my bill. I would have liked to pay everything upfront. All these extra charges added $600.00 to...

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Casita emensely. The view overlooking Zihua Bay was spectacular. Morning breakfast was both varied and tasty. Very short walk to La Ropa beach. About one mile walk to center of town or taxis readily available. The staff was welcoming, always and helpful. There are 5 large bedrooms in this facility. After the four other occupants, that were there when we arrived left, we had the whole place to ourselves.would HIGHLY recommend this lodging.

Thoughtfully designed, in a thoroughly relaxed location, made even better by literally the entire staff who made us feel welcome. No notes. A perfect stay.

Hotel needs an update but the service is great

Place was amazing. Nice little boutique hotel. Close to beach and a handful of restaurants.

I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone it is a small hotel with a great location close to everything and it is clean and the pool is just the right size. My family and I have been looking to stay away from the All- inclusive resorts since for something decent and affordable and I think we found it at Gamma de Fiesta Inn we loved it.
